I'm Leanna
I am a graphic designer, wife and mama, who has a love for personalised things and a pretty home. I am the designer, packer, administrator and coffee maker for Lilypad Designs. Other than when I need to rope my husband in to be a wizz with the parcel tape, or my mum to help with invite construction, I run Lilypad Designs single handedly (although often with a toddler or baby on one knee!).
I started my business because I have an obsession with all things personalised, but because my parents gave me an unusual name, I grew up without a keyring or mug with my name on. I only design products that I love and would have myself. I believe that no girl, boy, couple, family or pet should be without personalisation, and hope you love your purchase as much I loved creating it!
None of my designs are cast in stone. We are all individual and have our own ideas. If you would like any of my designs 'tweaking', or can't quite find what you're looking for, please contact me and we can come up with a design that suits your personality.

Let me introduce myself and Sunshine & Showers
A mum or four, a hands on Nana of three, the administrator of my husband’s company, a volunteer at various local groups and a patcher-up of a very old rambling ‘character’ home, life is busy.
This has always been the reason (excuse) why my creative tendencies have been unexplored. Not any more!
As the mum of Leanna (Mrs Lilypad Designs) I have access to the selling platforms, social media channels and marketing expertise to get me started. Time to cash in on the many hours (days/years!) of help and support I’ve given Leanna over the years.

Sunshine & Showers has been born
It all starts with a ball of clay. This is then moulded, cut, stamped and painted to create bowls, hanging ornaments, signs and coasters – the options are endless. Made for you to celebrate your home, family, pets, friends, life events and thank you gifts. After drying, it is lovingly sanded, painted, constructed and varnished.
In the words of Lilypad Designs ‘None of my designs are cast in stone. We are all individual and have our own ideas. If you would like any of my designs 'tweaking', or can't quite find what you're looking for, please contact me and we can come up with a design that suits your personality.’

There is nothing as tactile and pleasant to touch as a natural product. The feel of the smooth sanded edges and the appreciation of the time and effort taken in its creation is relaxing and inspiring.
